Description
The NuProdx MC6000 is a rolling commode chair, shower chair and tub slider in one unit. The person is transferred once, at the bedside, then rolled to the bathroom, over the toilet, and slid on the seat over a bridge into the tub.
What that means for the day
The MC6000 removes the transfers onto a toilet and into a tub: the roll-in section is the mobility chair, the commode chair and the shower chair.
The roll-in section has four 5 in (13 cm) locking casters. It stands over the toilet, and the seat then slides along the tracks, over the connector bridge, into the tub section.
Will it fit your bathroom?
The roll-in section is 22 in (56 cm) across the arm pads, so check that against your door frame and the space beside the toilet.
The bridge length comes from the K measurement, the distance from the middle of the tub drain to the middle of the toilet. Measure that before ordering; the maker's measuring worksheet is below. Seat to floor is 21.5 in to 25.5 in (55-65 cm), adjustable.
Safety rules for every transfer
All four casters must be locked when transferring in, transferring out and sliding the user into the tub section. The connector bridge must be fully seated in both sections with its shoulder screws locked, or a part can dislodge during the transfer.
Fit the footrests after the transfer and never pull on them. Both sections must be level and the same height. The chair is for indoor bathroom use: outdoor use voids the warranty.
Frequently asked questions
Does the user have to stand up to get in?
No. The system needs one bedside transfer, then the chair rolls and the seat slides.
Do I need to measure my bathroom first?
Yes. The bridge length comes from the maker's K measurement. A free home assessment measures the room with you.
Is a commode pan included?
No. The commode pan, splash guards and positioning belts are separate accessories. Ask us what your build includes.
Can I return it if it does not fit?
Bathroom safety items cannot be returned once used, under our return policy, so confirm the measurements first.

Nuprodx warrants this multiCHAIR 6000 series shower commode chair against defects in material and workmanship from the date you receive it, and will repair or replace it at its discretion with no charge for parts and labour, with proof of purchase and purchase date.
- Chair parts: 2 years.
- Seat and back cushions: not covered, because the foam is fragile.
- Excludes normal wear and tear and custom parts or custom cushions.
- For indoor shower and bathroom use; outdoor use voids the warranty.
