Description

The Rascal Conquest RSC104 is a mid-size 4-wheel scooter for a person who can steer a tiller indoors and on pavement.

What does it do and how does it work?

  • A 24-volt DC motor and sealed transaxle drive the rear wheels, up to 6 mph (9.7 km/h).
  • Brakes are regenerative and electromechanical. A freewheel lever releases them for a short push on level ground.
  • Two U1 batteries, 22.2 lbs (10 kg) each, charge from an off-board charger plugged into the tiller.
  • The black vinyl seat swivels. Armrests flip up and adjust in width. Seat-to-deck height is 16.25-17.75 in (412-451 mm).
  • Tires are solid: 10 in (254 mm) front and 10.75 in (273 mm) rear. There is no suspension.

Who is it for, and who should choose something else?

  • It suits a rider up to 350 lbs (158.75 kg) who can hold a tiller indoors and outdoors.
  • Choose something else if you cannot steer a tiller, or if you must sit in the scooter in a moving vehicle.

Will it fit?

  • The seat is 17 in (432 mm) wide and 17 in (432 mm) deep. Seat height is 15.5 in (393 mm).
  • Length is 46.97 in (1193 mm), width is 23.78 in (604 mm), and height is 37.2-38.23 in (945-971 mm).
  • The turn is 51.75 in (1314 mm). A three-point reverse needs 63.74 in (1619 mm).
  • Clearance at the motor is 2.44 in (62 mm). It climbs a 3.54 in (90 mm) obstacle and a 6 degree (10.5%) slope.
  • We confirm the shroud colour before you order. The RSC104 finish shown is red.

Using it day to day

  • Charge at least 8-14 hours before the first ride, with the off-board charger only. It will not drive while that charger is plugged in.
  • Lock the tiller, lift off the seat, shroud and batteries, then separate the front and rear. No tools are required.
  • Allow about 5 feet (1.5 m) of floor. The front section is 55.7 lbs (25.3 kg), so ask for help to lift it.

What does it work with, and what are its limits?

  • Range is up to 16.9 miles (27.2 km) at 200 lbs (90.75 kg), and up to 10.5 miles (16.9 km) at 350 lbs (158.75 kg).
  • With the battery pack it weighs 169.2 lbs (76.7 kg). Without batteries it weighs 124.8 lbs (56.6 kg). It is rated IPX4.
  • The limited warranty is 3 years on the frame, 2 years on the electronics and drivetrain, and 6 months on the batteries.

Which version should I choose?

  • This model is the 4-wheel RSC104. The 3-wheel RSC103 turns in 38.78 in (985 mm), is 44.65 in (1134 mm) long, and uses a 9 in (229 mm) front tire.

How does it compare?

Frequently asked questions

Can I sit in it during a car ride?

No. It is not approved for occupied transport. Sit in a vehicle seat and secure the empty scooter.

Will it move while the charger is plugged in?

No. The drive stays off while the off-board charger is plugged into the tiller port.

Is a positioning belt included?

A positioning belt is optional. It supports you in the seat. It is not a vehicle seat belt.
