Description
The Pride i-Go folds by hand and splits into two pieces. A 25.2 V 9.6 Ah lithium pack is included, and Pride labels the SC20 a non-medical device. We confirm Canadian supply and the colour before you order.
Who it suits, and who should choose something else
- A rider up to 275 lbs (125 kg) who can lift the rear base, 32.8 lbs (14.9 kg).
- The slope rating is 6 degrees. Clearance is 3.5 in (8.9 cm) at the axle. No suspension is listed.
- It is a folding scooter, not a heavy outdoor scooter. See folding scooters for other lifts. If you need a cushion or back support, ask your therapist about a folding power wheelchair.

- It folds manually and separates into two pieces. Without the battery it is 60.6 lbs (27.5 kg).
- Length 44 in (112 cm), width 20.35 in (52 cm), turning radius 45.9 in (117 cm).
- Seat 16 by 16 in, with a removable cushion and back. The tiller telescopes, adjusts in angle and has a two-speed control.
- An 8 in front hub wheel and a 9 in perforated rear wheel. Regenerative and electromechanical brakes; top speed up to 6.4 km/h (4 mph) at 275 lbs. LED headlight. No suspension.
- Colours: Black, White and Iceberg Blue.
Battery and flying
- One removable lithium-ion pack, 25.2 V 9.6 Ah, about 242 Wh, with a 3.5 amp charger. Range up to 11.3 km (7 mi) at 275 lbs, and up to 15 km (9.3 mi) at 220 lbs.
- The pack comes off. The airline must approve it before you fly; read the watt-hours from the pack label. We replace worn batteries.
