Description
The Infinity LC-525i is a Pride infinite position chair, not a VivaLift. Pride lists it as discontinued in the US and says new orders are not accepted.
Who should consider it?
- People who accept a discontinued model.
- Do not exceed 375 lbs (170.1 kg).
- It is not a bed.
How does it work?
Positions are true infinite, zero gravity and Trendelenburg.
The footrest extension is standard on Small, Medium and Large, and Pride says it is not on the Petite Wide.
The USB remote is not available when deluxe heat and massage is added.
What should you measure before ordering?
- Pride's height bands are a guide only, and measurements may vary by about 1 inch.
- Overall width is 34" (864 mm), 35" (889 mm) and 37" (940 mm).
- Chair height is 43" (1092 mm), 45" (1143 mm) and 46" (1168 mm).
- Use a wall outlet, not an extension cord.
What happens in a power outage?
- The owner's manual says 9V batteries, not included, give only a short window to return the chair upright.
- Fit the batteries before you rely on them.
- This is not the VivaLift lithium pack unless that option was ordered.
What use and care limits matter?
- Fabrics are Cloud 9, Lexis, Crypton and Ultraleather, in colours including Pacific, Stone, Walnut and Black Cherry.
- Fabric is not covered.
What should you compare?
- See the lift chair hub.
See lift chairs for other styles.; see lift chair fit guide.; see bed tables.
Frequently asked questions
What is the backup battery?
Two 9V batteries, bought by the owner. The owner's manual says they work for only a short time after the power fails, so use the hand control quickly.
What do zero gravity and Trendelenburg mean here?
They are names Pride uses for positions on this model. Zero gravity is the position with the thighs and lower legs higher than the torso.
Can the heat and massage option be added after the chair is built?
No. Pride fits deluxe heat and massage on the factory line, so it cannot be added to a chair that is already built.
Funding may help: see who may help pay.
Motor, hand control, heat pad, massage unit and transformer are 4 years, then pro-rated in years 5, 6 and 7. See the Warranty tab for terms.
