Description
The Pride VivaLift Elegance 2 (PLR-975) is one of our infinite position lift chairs: the back and footrest move on their own, the back reclines flat, and the chair lifts you to stand.
Who is it for?
- Someone up to 400 lbs (181.5 kg) who wants a power headrest, backrest, lumbar and footrest extension.
- It is for reclining, resting and help to stand, not a bed.
Which size fits you?
Medium and Large share the same height guide, so decide by seat and back height.
- Seat height: Medium 20" (508 mm); Large 20.5" (521 mm).
- Back height: Medium 27" (686 mm); Large 30" (762 mm). If your head sits above the Medium back, choose the Large.
- Seat: Medium 21" (533 mm) wide and deep; Large 22" (559 mm) wide and deep.

Will it fit your room?
- Width: Medium 35.5" (902 mm); Large 37.5" (953 mm).
- Wall clearance for a full recline: 14" (356 mm) Medium; 16" (406 mm) Large.
- The back lifts off the base, so measure the base against your narrowest door.
- Plug it into a wall outlet. Do not use an extension cord; a single-outlet 1000 joule surge protector is allowed.
What it does
- The back and footrest move independently, and the lift raises you to standing.
- Power headrest, backrest, lumbar and footrest extension are standard. The toggle remote has soft-touch buttons, USB and memory, and connects in either arm.
- A lithium-ion pack keeps the chair working in a power outage. It runs unplugged for up to 48 hours; charge it before first use, and do not treat it as daily cordless power.
- The chaise is fully removable for cleaning under the seat.
Use and care
- Do not stand until you feel steady, and do not put your weight on the armrests.
- Unplug the transformer before wiping it with a dry or lightly damp cloth.
- Keep the chair indoors, out of rain, snow and standing water. Fabric is not covered by the warranty.

What happens if the power goes out?
It runs unplugged for up to 48 hours. Charge it before first use; it is not for daily cordless use.
Does it have heat or massage?
No. The Elegance 2 is a power positioning chair. The Premier and Ultra add heat and massage.
Will the back fit through my door?
The back lifts off the base, so the chair moves in two pieces. Measure the base width against your doorway.
Can I take the chaise off to clean it?
Yes. The chaise is fully removable. Unplug the chair before you clean around the frame.

Warranty details
Pride Mobility warrants the VivaLift! Elegance (PLR-975) power recliner to the original owner against defects under normal use.
- Lift and recline mechanisms and chair frame: lifetime, for as long as the original owner uses the chair.
- Motor, hand control, transformer and control box, power headrest and power lumbar: 4 years, then a pro-rated discount off the suggested retail price in years 5, 6 and 7 (25%, 15%, 5%).
- Lithium-ion battery pack: 1 year.
- Fabric is not covered.
- Labour, service calls and shipping are not covered unless Pride authorizes them in advance.
- Excludes misuse, abuse, negligence, contamination, commercial use, improper operation or storage, non-Pride parts, and use over the weight capacity.
