Description
The Priva Ultra Sheet Protector (P12605) is a reusable, washable bed pad, 34 x 36 in (86 x 91 cm), with four layers and a vinyl barrier; one pad is one order.
What does it do and how does it work?
- The brushed polyester surface is quilted and soft.
- A high-density 7 oz core absorbs and holds liquid.
- A Vintex Safeguard vinyl barrier stops it reaching the mattress.
- The sewing and rounded corners keep the pad flat wash after wash.
Who is it for, and who should choose something else?
- It holds up to 3 cups (710 ml).
- For a family that changes the bed without stripping it.
- For full mattress protection, a fitted protector is the right item.
Will it fit?
- 34 x 36 in (86 x 91 cm).
- It covers the middle of a twin bed; measure first.
- The 34 x 52 in Ultra Plus is the longer pad.
Using it day to day
- Lay it on top of the sheet; it lifts off for a change.
- Machine wash warm to 40 C (104 F), dry normal, do not iron.
- Non-chlorine bleach only, with care; no fabric softener.
What does it work with, and what are its limits?
- It has no straps; it lies flat on the bed.
- It is not a fitted mattress protector.
- The vinyl is certified free of lead, cadmium, mercury and phthalates.
- The materials are made for more than 300 washes.
How does it compare?
- The Priva Ultra Plus Sheet Protector is the same build in 34 x 52 in.
- The Priva Premium Sheet Protector is the top of the line.
- The rest of the range is under patient room products.
Frequently asked questions
Does it stay flat at night?
The rounded-corner sewing keeps the surface flat; the pad has no straps and lies on the sheet.
Can I use two pads on a double bed?
Two pads side by side cover a double bed with a gap in the middle; one wider pad means fewer edges to line up.
Can it be bleached?
Non-chlorine bleach only, with care, and never poured straight onto the pad.
