Description
The Drive Quad Cane Tip, item RTL10353, is a four-pronged tip for a cane with a 3/4 in (19 mm) bottom tube. With it fitted, the cane stands upright on its own when you set it down.
What does it do, and how is it built?
- The four-pronged base gives better balance and stability, and the cane stands upright on its own.
- One tip comes in a retail blister pack; the factory packs 10 blisters to a case.
Which canes does it fit?
It fits a cane with a 3/4 in (19 mm) bottom tube, and these Drive cane models.
- Models 10302, 10303, 10304, 10306, 10307, 10309, 10317, 10331, 10335, 10339, 10342, 10345, 10347, 10350, 10351, 10370 and 10372.
- The 10381 series.
- A cane with a 1/2 in or 5/8 in tube needs a different tip; this one will not grip it.
How do I fit it?
- Check that the bare tube is 3/4 in (19 mm), then take the Allen head wedge out of the locking wedge.
- Remove the old tip. Mark the cane in pencil 1 1/8 in (29 mm) from the end.
- Set the quad tip on the ground and push the cane in by leaning on it. At least 1 in (25 mm) of the cane must enter. The pencil mark shows that depth.
- Put the Allen head wedge back into the locking wedge and tighten it.

Will this tip fit my cane?
It fits a 3/4 in (19 mm) tube. The 1 1/8 in (29 mm) pencil mark shows that at least 1 in (25 mm) of cane is inside.
Does the cane stand on its own once fitted?
Yes. The four-pronged base holds the cane upright when you let go.
Is more than one tip included?
No. One tip is in the blister pack. Order two if you are fitting two canes.
