Does it fold for the car?
No. It stays full length; a folding cane is a different item.

No. The chrome small-base cane is 10301-4; this is the black foam RTL10310.
Will it stand up if I let go?
On a level floor the four tips let it stand; do not leave it on a slope or stairs.
