The Quickie Q700-UP M is a mid-wheel drive power chair from Sunrise Medical that raises the rider into a standing position. It carries up to 265 lbs (120 kg) on SEDEO PRO ADVANCED UP seating.
Who is it for?
- A rider who wants to stand during the day: at a counter, at a sink, or face to face with someone standing.
- A rider with a lift or a ramp van. From 366 lbs, it is not a chair to lift by hand.
How does standing work?
- Standing is powered from the joystick. Six memory positions can be saved, so seated pressure relief, supine and standing positions are one press away.
- Biometric repositioning passes through an intermediate tilt when returning from recline, using gravity to realign the pelvis.
- The power recline carries 7 in of anti-shear, which keeps the headrest and even a chin control in place as the back goes down.
- The centre-mount footrest holds a true 90 degree knee angle, the knee pad adjusts in width, depth and angle, and the footplate lowers to the floor for standing transfers.
How does it drive?
- Mid-wheel drive with 14 in drive wheels, 6 in casters and a 25 in base; it turns in 19.8 in excluding the footplate.
- SpiderTrac 2.0 suspension lets all six wheels move independently. Ground clearance is 3 in, and it climbs curbs up to 3 in and gradients up to 9 degrees.
- Top speed is 6 mph, or 8 mph with the optional motors. Group 24 batteries and the 6 mph motors give up to 18 miles.
- It is ISO 7176-19 transit approved, with tie-down points for vehicle travel.
Will it fit?
- The seat adjusts from 16 to 22 in wide by 16 to 22 in deep, the back from 21 to 30 in, and the seat sits 16.5 to 19 in off the floor. A back cushion can cost 2 in of effective seat depth.
- Seat and back widths adjust independently with one tool, multi-link arm supports bring the joystick closer, and the premium headrest adjusts or lifts off.
- JAY cushions and backs fit, and we carry wheelchair cushions separately.
Controls and colours
- The R-Net advanced joystick is standard, with assignable buttons, infrared and optional Bluetooth. Switch-It head arrays and switch boxes are the other drive controls, and SureTrac gyro control is optional.
- Shrouds come in nine colours including Candy Blue, Candy Red and American Flag, or black with one of seven inlays.

Warranty details
Sunrise Medical warrants the Quickie Q700-UP M against defects in materials and workmanship for the first consumer purchaser, through a Sunrise Medical authorized dealer in Canada or the USA, counted from the date of first purchase. This warranty does not affect your legal rights.
- Frame: 5 years.
- Sunrise-made parts and components, including motors, gearboxes and electronics: 1 year.
- Batteries: 1 year, through the original battery maker.
- Sunrise repairs or replaces covered parts. The owner pays labour to repair, remove or install parts, even when they are covered.
- Not transferable. Void if the serial number tag is removed or altered.
- Excludes tires and tubes, upholstery, pads and push-handle grips, and damage from neglect, accident, misuse, improper installation or repair, changes made without Sunrise's written consent, or exceeding the weight limit.
