Description
ReTurnBelt disposable, article 6234, is a single-use transfer belt in size M for sit-to-stand work and gait practice with a ReTurn platform. It fits a waist of 105 to 125 cm and comes as a pack of five.
Who is it for?
- An adult whose waist measures 105 to 125 cm, the middle of the maker's four disposable sizes.
- A carer who needs a firm grip at each hip while steadying a standing transfer or walking practice.
- A short-term or infection-control setting, where the belt is thrown away instead of laundered.
Which size?
- S 6233 fits 90 to 105 cm, M 6234 fits 105 to 125 cm, L 6235 fits 125 to 145 cm and XL 6236 fits 135 to 155 cm.
- Measure at the widest point, over light clothing. The ranges overlap at 125 and 135 cm, and no rule for the choice is published; ask us if the person is near a boundary.
How is it fitted?
- Set the elastic section upward and the rigid lower section downward.
- Lean the person forward or to one side and guide the lower section to the sit bones.
- Close the full length of the front Velcro strap.
- Fold the locking strap under the belt until the person stands, then loop it around the ReTurn and close the clasp. A click means it is shut.
- Brake the ReTurn wheels before the transfer.
Can it be used without a ReTurn?
- Yes. For gait training, secure both Velcro straps and the clasp.
- The two side handles let the carer support the hips from either side.
- SupportStraps, sold separately, add side support on the ReTurn7500, ReTurn7400 and ReTurn7600.
Care and limits
- Single use. Do not launder; discard it when soiled or when the person no longer needs it.
- The safe working load is 205 kg (450 lb).
- The body is hydrophobic, non-woven polypropylene.
How does it compare?

Yes. Size M covers 105 to 125 cm. Measure at the widest point, over light clothing, and ask us if the measurement is close to a boundary.
