Description
The Parsons ADL 16B084 is a full length rubber bath mat for the tub: 16 in (41 cm) wide by 41 in (104 cm) long, off white and latex free.
What does it do and how does it work?
- Full length: one continuous mat runs the whole tub floor, covering the standing and sitting area.
- Slip resistant: raised circular nubs cover the top, and Parsons calls the mat slip resistant.
- Latex free: the rubber contains no latex.
- One colour: off white.
Who is it for, and who should choose something else?
A long mat suits someone who wants grip underfoot right along the tub, including people who lie back to soak. Choose a shorter contoured mat for a short tub floor, or a bath chair if you need to sit.
Will it fit?
Measure the flat inside floor of the tub, end to end. The mat is 41 in (104 cm) long and 16 in (41 cm) wide, so a shorter floor leaves the mat standing up at one end. One end has a curved notch. A free home assessment will measure the tub for you.
What does it work with, and what are its limits?
- A floor mat, not a handhold: for support getting in and out, use a grab bar.
- It is not a seat or a step; use a shower stool or a bath step for those.
- Lay it on the flat inside floor of the tub, not on the rim or the bathroom floor.
How does it compare?
- AquaSense contoured bath mat: 32 in (81 cm) long, more than 300 suction cups.
- AquaSense contoured mat with massage zones: 39 in (99 cm) long, more than 400 suction cups.
- All bath mats: every mat we sell.
Frequently asked questions
Can I use it in a shower stall?
Measure the shower floor first: the mat is 41 in (104 cm) long. If the floor is shorter, the contoured AquaSense mat suits it better.
Is it slippery when wet?
Parsons describes the nubbed surface as slip resistant. It remains a mat, not a handhold.
What if the size is wrong?
Bathroom safety items are non-returnable, so measure the tub first. See our return policy.
Funding may help: see who may help pay.
Parsons covers the mat for one year; terms are in the Warranty tab.
