The carry bar latch kit for a Savaria ceiling lift, ordered under code M920655. A latch is the spring catch on the bar hook: lift it, slide the sling loop over the hook, and the latch springs back and holds the loop inside.
Those loops carry the person, so a latch kit is load-bearing work: a trained technician fits the kit and checks that every latch closes completely before the lift goes back into use.
