The Savaria stand-assist sling in corset style, item M921516, is a reusable sling for standing transfers with a stand-up mobile lift. It comes in small, medium, large and extra large.
Which lifts does it fit?
- It fits a stand-up mobile lift that raises a person from sitting to standing.
- The sling and lift must both be rated for the person's weight, and the maker must approve the pairing.
- Tell us your lift's model and serial and we confirm the bar fit before you order.
Who is it for, and who should choose something else?
- For a person who can take part in a standing transfer: the lift raises them while the sling wraps the chest.
- It serves bed, chair, commode and toilet transfers, and steadying a person while they dress.
- Choose a full-body sling if the person cannot take weight through the legs.
Which size?
Sizes are small M921516-S, medium M921516-M, large M921516-L and extra large M921516-XL; this code has no extra small or extra extra large. A trained assessor chooses the size at the fitting.
How do you wash, inspect and replace it?
- Follow the care label for washing and drying; the sling is reusable.
- Before each use, check the straps for fraying, the material for holes and the label for legibility.
- Remove it from use at the first sign of damage or an unreadable label.
What does it work with, and what are its limits?
- Use it only with a stand-up mobile lift whose bar suits the sling; the manufacturer must approve the pairing.
- Never load it above the safe working load on its label.
- It is not for lifting a person who cannot stand.
How does it compare?

Is the corset sling the same as the roll-style stand assist?
No. The roll-style sling has different codes; this one is the corset cut M921516.
Can I use it with a ceiling lift?
It is made for a stand-up mobile lift. Tell us the model of any other lift before using it.
What if the label is damaged or missing?
Do not use the sling. Without a legible label you cannot check its rating or its care.
