Description
This is the bottom piece of the slack tape upper limit activator inside a Handicare ceiling lift, a small part that works the lift's limit switches. The lift has a built-in slack tape detector, and a slack tape fault that keeps returning after weight is put on the carry bar needs a dealer check.
Send the lift's model and serial number and a photo of the switch assembly with the activator in place, and the part will be matched before you order. Look at the old activator for wear where the switch bears on it.
The switch sits inside the lift beside the tape, so our service team fits the activator and checks the switch before the lift goes back into use.

Handicare warrants this slack tape limit activator, a service part supplied new, against failure from defects in material or workmanship for 1 year from the date of installation or 18 months from the date of manufacture, whichever is shorter.
- Slack tape limit activator: 1 year from installation or 18 months from manufacture, whichever is shorter.
- Excludes normal wear and tear, damage by natural forces, user neglect or misuse, and deliberate damage.
- Void if the lift is not serviced by Handicare or its authorized service agents as the maker recommends, or if an unauthorized person works on it.
- Handicare's liability is limited to replacing defective parts.
