An elevating legrest is a leg support that swings up to raise the leg above the seat, which suits a user who needs the leg supported after surgery or to ease swelling. It replaces the standard footrest hanger.
This is the right-hand V1 legrest, part 0031583B-00. The left-hand version is 0031584B-00, so confirm the side before ordering.
A legrest carries the leg and its hanger carries load on the frame, so it is fitted and set by a technician. It is made for the Motion Composites Move folding wheelchair, which also takes the V1 and V2 footrests. See our wheelchairs for the chair. Warranty terms are in the Warranty tab.

Motion Composites warrants this right-hand V1 elevating legrest (0031583B-00), as a Motion Composites-made component, against defects in materials and workmanship for one year from the date of purchase.
- Elevating legrest: 1 year.
- Covers the original consumer purchaser only.
- A part replaced or repaired under warranty is covered for the rest of the original term.
- Excludes normal wear and tear; negligence, accident, misuse or improper maintenance; improper repairs; unauthorized modifications; commercial or institutional use; and use above the chair's weight capacity.
