Who it suits, and who should choose something else
- A rider who wants four wheels and who can lift 70 lb (31.8 kg), or who has help.
- Ground clearance is 2.5 in (6.4 cm). The slope rating is 7.5 degrees. Width is 25 in (63.5 cm), so measure the doorway.
- The Ventura 3 DLX is a different scooter with three wheels. If 70 lb is too heavy, see travel scooters.
- If you need a cushion or back support for posture, ask your therapist about a power wheelchair.

Warranty details
Drive Medical warrants the Ventura DLX 4-wheel to the original purchaser against defects in materials and workmanship.
- Main frame, seat post, platform and frame welds: limited lifetime.
- Motor and gearbox, brakes (electromagnetic function), controller, PC board, harness, joystick, throttle and charger: 14 months.
- Batteries: 6 months, under the battery maker's own warranty.
- Accessories supplied by Drive: 1 year.
- Shrouds, tires, upholstery, armrest pads, fuses and other wear parts are covered only if defective on delivery.
- Excludes labour, service calls and shipping unless Drive authorizes them. Service is by an authorized Drive provider.
