Description
This left-hand Newton footplate is aluminium and measures 7.5 in across by 8 in from front to back. At that depth the aluminium plate comes in 4.5, 5.5, 6.5 and 7.5 in widths, so this is the widest. The matching right-hand plate is 0031601A-00.
It is made for the Helio A6 and Helio C2 wheelchairs by Motion Composites. The plate's angle is adjustable, so the foot can rest at the position the user needs. Do not stand on a footplate: it is not a step.
Before ordering, measure your current plate and check which side of the chair it sits on, and have the chair's serial number to hand. Our service team can fit the new plate and set its angle; the rest of the range is under spare parts.

Motion Composites warrants this adjustable Newton aluminium footplate assembly (0031602A-00), as a Motion Composites-made component, against defects in materials and workmanship for one year from the date of purchase.
- Footplate: 1 year.
- Covers the original consumer purchaser only.
- A part replaced or repaired under warranty is covered for the rest of the original term.
- Excludes normal wear and tear; negligence, accident, misuse or improper maintenance; improper repairs; unauthorized modifications; commercial or institutional use; and use above the chair's weight capacity.
