Description

The Airgo 730-330 is a black offset-handle cane from Drive Medical, sold as one cane.

What does it do and how does it work?

  • A heavy-gauge anodized aluminium shaft keeps the cane light.
  • The offset handle puts the grip forward, so your hand presses down over the cane.
  • A hypalon sponge grip softens the hold, and a nylon strap stays on your wrist.
  • A push-button sets the height, and an anti-rattle lock-nut stops the joint clicking.

Who is it for, and who should choose something else?

  • For someone who wants a light single-point cane with a soft grip and a wrist strap.
  • Choose a quad cane if it must stand up alone, or a rollator to rest and take weight off one side.

Will it fit?

  • With the tip flat on the floor, the grip should reach your wrist with a slight elbow bend.
  • Press the button, slide the shaft and tighten the lock-nut; we confirm the height and the 250 lb (113 kg) limit before your order.

Using it day to day

  • Check the rubber tip before each walk; a smooth tip slips on hard floors.
  • Wipe the sponge grip with a damp cloth, and loop the strap over your hand.

What does it work with, and what are its limits?

  • The grip can be replaced with Drive item 730-345, a straight sponge handle named for this cane.
  • The rubber tip has a wide suction grip and is the part that meets the floor.
  • It is a walking aid, not a seat or a transfer handle, and only black is sold under this item number.

How does it compare?

Frequently asked questions

Is the grip replaceable?

Yes. Drive's straight sponge handle, item 730-345, is the replacement for this cane.

Is one order a pair?

No. One cane is one sale; Drive packs six canes in a case.

Is this the same cane as RTL10306?

No. RTL10306 is a separate Drive item with a 30 to 39 in handle.

Is this the silver cane?

No. The 730-320 is the silver cane in the same line; this 730-330 is black.
