Item RTL10306 is Drive's black offset cane. The foam grip sits over the bend, a wrist strap hangs from the handle, and the tube is extruded aluminum.
Who it suits
The offset puts the hand over the shaft, which many people find steadier than a straight T-handle. The maker lists an approximate user height of 5 ft to 6 ft 5 in. This page is the black cane only. Patterned shafts on the same family sheet are other item numbers.
Setting it
Press the button, slide to a hole, and turn the locking ring so the joint does not rattle. Measure from the wrist crease to the floor in the shoes you will wear. The sheet agrees on 30 to 39 in in both the bullets and the specification table.
The tube and the tip
The maker prints the tube as 3/4 in, in a line that says "Can Diameter". Tips sold for a 1 in cane will not seat. The cane comes with its own tip. A quad tip or a glow tip from the accessory list is not in the box.
Care
Wipe the foam with a damp cloth and let it dry. Do not soak the grip. If the strap stitching frays, stop using the loop and ask us before the cane can swing away from the wrist.

Frequently asked questions
Which hand does the offset favour?
Either hand. The bend is centred over the tube, not shaped for a left or a right grip. Wear the strap on the wrist that holds it.
Can I fit a tip made for a thicker cane?
No. A tip moulded for a 1 in tube will sit loose on this shaft. Match the tip to the 3/4 in tube or it will come off.
How do I stop the joint from rattling?
Turn the locking ring after the button clicks home. If it still rattles, the button may be between holes, so move it to the next stop.
Does the foam grip need a cover?
No cover is supplied. Keep the foam out of a closed wet bag. If the surface tears, the grip should be replaced rather than taped.
