Blake's Rhythm Multi is a 10-inch powered mattress replacement with static low air loss, 3-in-1 alternation and pulsation.
Who should consider it?
- Blake labels it for the prevention and treatment of stage I to IV pressure injuries, and its modes give the care team choices when alternation feels uncomfortable or moisture management matters.
- The person's nurse, doctor or therapist should choose the surface and settings from an assessment.
- This is a complete mattress replacement; it is not a pad placed over an existing mattress.
How does it work?
Static mode provides low air loss without cycling the cells.
In alternating mode, one cell in each group of three changes inflation while the other two support the person.
Pulsation varies support with all 18 cells inflated.
What should you measure before ordering?
- It comes in 36, 42 and 48 inch widths, each 80 inches long and 10 inches high.
- Measure the bed's sleep deck, not just the frame outside edge.
- Health Canada advises checking that a therapeutic mattress fits the bed and rails because compression can widen the mattress-to-rail space.
- A free home assessment can check the deck and rail arrangement before an order; the bed rails range lists the types to discuss with the care team.
What happens if power or pressure is lost?
- The Rhythm Multi control unit has audible and visual alarms for low pressure and power failure.
- Its quick CPR release is for urgent deflation.
- A caregiver should learn the alarm reset and release procedure from the attached manual and care team.

- The Rhythm Turn adds lateral rotation for a care plan that calls for side-to-side movement.
- The Emotion Micro offers a quieter compressor-style system with alternation and static modes, but its listed capacity is 440 lbs rather than 600 lbs.

Yes. It is a full mattress replacement with an air-cell section and foam base.
Can the cells run without alternating?
Yes. Static low air loss runs without the alternating cycle. Pulsation is another option that keeps support under all 18 cells while changing the feel of the surface.
What does the heel adjustment do?
The manual heel control changes softness at the foot section independently of the main comfort setting. It is the Happy Heel control.

Warranty details
Prius Healthcare, the maker of the Rhythm Multi system that Blake Medical supplies in Canada, warrants it against defects in material and workmanship for 12 months from the date of delivery.
- Mattress and control unit: 12 months, repaired or replaced at the maker's choice at no charge.
- Covers the original purchaser only; the warranty is not transferable.
- Excludes damage from shipping, tampering, improper maintenance, carelessness, accident, negligence or misuse, and equipment altered, repaired or taken apart without the maker's written authorization.
