Description

The Drive Folding Exercise Peddler with Electronic Display (item RTL10273) is a silver pedal exerciser you use from your own chair. It gives light, low-impact movement without the space an exercise bike takes; the legs fold for storage.

What does it do and how does it work?

A tension knob sets the resistance, and the display tracks the session.

  • Display: time, revolution count, revolutions per minute and calories burned, with a scan mode that cycles through them.
  • Resistance: a knob on top; tighten for more, loosen for less.
  • Floor grip: four anti-slip rubber pads.
  • Folding: each leg folds in, released by a locking ring.
  • Power: button cell battery for the display, included.

Who is it for, and who should choose something else?

It suits someone who wants light seated movement.

  • After surgery or injury, or with a heart, circulation, joint or balance condition: ask a doctor or physiotherapist first.
  • A seat or handlebars: it has neither; it is not made for standing on.

Will it fit?

Set it on a flat floor in front of a chair that does not roll.

  • Both legs fold in for storage; open them until the locking buttons snap.
  • A loop over the front of each pedal holds the foot.
  • We confirm the folded size and the user weight limit before you order.

Using it day to day

Open both legs, fit the tension knob, and set it comfortable.

  • Hold the red Mode button for about 4 seconds to start the display; press it to move through the functions.
  • The unit may become hot with extended use; let it cool before touching the housing or folding it.

What does it work with, and what are its limits?

It is a light exercise aid, not a rehabilitation programme.

  • Calories: treat the figure as a rough guide; no method is given.
  • Display: it does not show heart rate, distance or speed.
  • Display: it shuts off on its own when it is not in use.
  • Warranty: limited lifetime for the original buyer; misuse, wear and rubber parts are excluded. See the warranty.

How does it compare?

Frequently asked questions

Can I use it for my arms?

The box names arm muscles, but no arm set-up is given. Ask a physiotherapist before pedalling by hand.

How do I change the display battery?

Remove the display panel with a small screwdriver, replace the cell and refit it. Bring the old cell to match the size.

Does the display stay on between sessions?

No. It shuts off when it is not in use. Hold the red Mode button for about 4 seconds to start it again.
