Using it day to day

• Hold it by the handle with the base lower than the opening, and keep the cap off while he uses it.
• Put the cap back on afterwards to help confine odours until it is emptied.
• Stand it upright to read the scale. Read the level at eye level and note the amount and time if a nurse asks.
• Empty it into the toilet soon after use, then rinse it.
