Drive Gravis FLNP600 is a 600 lb (272 kg) electric floor lift with a manual base. The legs open and close by a handle, not a motor, and the six-point cradle with spring clips takes loop slings.
Who is it for?
- One trained caregiver per ISO 10535:2006; some situations need two.
- Short transfers between a bed, a chair, a wheelchair and the floor.
Will it fit?
- Closed, the base is 31.6 in (805 mm) outside and 26.1 in (665 mm) inside.
- Open, it is 45.8 in (1165 mm) outside and 40.3 in (1025 mm) inside.
- Length is 52 in (1320 mm) and the turn diameter is 55.9 in (1420 mm).
- The legs are 5.3 in (135 mm) high with 2.9 in (76 mm) of ground clearance.
- Front casters are 3 in (76 mm); the rear casters are 5 in (125 mm) and lock.
- Measure the doorways and the turning space, or book a home assessment.
How high does it lift?
- Overall height runs from 26.75 to 76.3 in (680 to 1940 mm).
- The hook drops to 2.1 in (55 mm) above its lowest position, so the lift can pick a person up from the floor.
- Slings, chains and the digital scale are separate.
Which slings fit?
- Floor-lift slings with loop attachments, on the six-point cradle.
- The sling must also be rated to 600 lb (272 kg).
- See patient lift slings for the range.
Controls, alerts and power
- The LCD shows the battery fuel level, with a low-battery alert, an overload alert, a boom safety stop and a maintenance-due alert.
- Redundant control-box buttons, an emergency stop and a mechanical lowering device on the actuator cover a pendant or power failure.
- The removable battery charges on the lift or on the supplied stand and takes about 3 hours. Do not charge it in a bathroom or shower room.
Drive's warranty covers the frame for life (15 years), the electronics for 5 years, the battery for 1 year and casters for 90 days.

Frequently asked questions
How long does the battery take to charge, and can it charge off the lift?
About 3 hours. It charges in place through the control box, or you can lift the pack off and set it on the supplied stand.
What happens if the power fails with someone in the sling?
Use the control-box buttons if the pendant fails. After a total power failure, turn the mechanical lowering device on the actuator by hand.
Can one person operate the Gravis manual-base lift?
A single trained and experienced caregiver can, under ISO 10535:2006. Some circumstances need two people.
