What does it do and how does it work?
- Folding frame: folds to 17.3 x 27.2 x 33 in (44 x 69 x 84 cm) without removing parts; the seat stays on.
- Drive: two 24V brushless 250 W motors turn 12 in rear wheels and 8 in (20.3 cm) front casters on frog-leg suspension forks.
- Speed and range: 6 km/h (3.7 mph), up to 21 km (13.1 mi) on two 20 Ah lithium packs.
- Seat: 18 x 16.5 in (44.8 x 42 cm), 21.7 in (55 cm) high, 19.7 in (50 cm) back, four-position backrest, flip-back arms and an adjustable leg guard.
- Controls: a joystick on either arm with five speed lights, battery gauge and horn; the brakes apply when it is released.
- Tyres: solid and maintenance free.
Who is it for, and who should choose something else?
- It suits a rider up to 330 lbs (150 kg) who wants 12 in wheels indoors and outdoors.
- It suits a carer who can lift 72.6 lbs (33 kg); it does not split.
- Choose the Ezee Life CH4080 for 8 in wheels, or a carbon chair if weight is the priority.

Using it day to day
- Unfold: open the frame, rotate the armrests, lower the leg guard and footrest, fit the joystick and plug in its cable.
- Fold: remove the joystick, retract the anti-tippers, fold the backrest, rotate the armrests and turn the leg guard down.
- Charge: plug the off-board charger into the port under the control panel; 8-10 hours, red to green; charge every two months in storage.
- Brakes: electromagnetic; push the levers forward to lock and pull them back to release for pushing.
- Fasten the seat belt before driving, and do not stand on the footrest.
What does it work with, and what are its limits?
- Stay within 330 lbs (150 kg), with one rider.
- The maximum grade is 12 degrees, and wet or slippery slopes are not safe.
- It is not a vehicle seat; the airline decides on the sealed batteries.
- Warranty: frame 5 years; motor 2 years; battery 1 year pro-rated; joystick and other items 1 year.
Which version should I choose?
- Wheels: 12 in on this model; the CH4080 uses 8 in wheels.
