Venice is Golden Canada's Medium chair, with a tilt and Nirvana massage.
Who should choose it, and who should not
- Suits someone at or under 400 lbs (181.5 kg) who wants a tilt plus massage and heat, and whose hips fit a 22 in (559 mm) seat.
- Not for anyone over 400 lbs (181.5 kg), and not if you need a Large seat. This sheet has no second size.
- Not the US Rhea PR447, which is sold in Medium and Large. This model code is PL447.
Will it fit you and the room?
One size. Golden Canada does not print a user-height range on this sheet.
- Seat: 22 in wide, 21 in deep, 20 in off the floor (559, 533 and 508 mm). Back height 29 in (737 mm).
- The chair is 37 in wide, 45 in tall and 37 in deep when seated (940, 1143 and 940 mm). Leave 25 in (635 mm) behind it to recline. The footrest then ends 43 in (1092 mm) past the back of the seat.
- The back type is bracket, not a quick-release back. Golden does not publish a minimum door width, so measure the whole chair against the narrowest opening.
What it will not do
- A separate HeatWave option is not listed. The heat that is included is the far-infrared heat in Nirvana.
- The sheet does not give a motor count, so we will not state one.
- No published battery type or runtime. Treat it as a backup.
- Covers are Sand and Stone. Footrest extension is not offered.

Is this the same chair as the Rhea PR447?
No. Rhea PR447 is a US model in Medium and Large. Venice PL447 is Golden Canada's Medium only.
Will the back come off to fit through a door?
The sheet calls the back a bracket type. It does not say the back slides off. Measure the whole chair.
How many motors does Venice have?
The spec table does not say. It lists five comfort zones. We will not guess a motor count.
What battery does the backup use?
The sheet says a battery backup is included and does not name the type or the runtime.
