Description
The Bure Rise and Go stand-up harness MULTI, item 56-384-MULTI-S, is the small harness for the Bure Rise and Go walker. It supports the hips and bottom while the walker's power rise helps the user stand.
What does it do and how does it work?
It wraps the hips and bottom and connects to the walker by two side straps.
- The broad upper part goes around the hips and the narrow lower part around the bottom, so the power rise pulls evenly.
- The lower part is split at the rear and can be opened for a toilet visit, so the harness can stay on.
- A Velcro fastener and a stepless safety belt tighten it around the person.
- The two attachment straps thread through the walker frame and its green locking devices.
Who is it for, and who should choose something else?
It suits a person who uses the Bure Rise and Go and can take part in standing with the power rise.
- It is not a hoist; a person who cannot stand needs a lift and sling.
- It fits only the walker codes named below; another walker needs its own harness.
- For walking support without a harness, a rollator is simpler.
Will it fit?
This is the small size in a range of S, M, L and XL.
- Small is 95 to 105 cm (37.4 to 41.3 in). Measure around the hips, where the broad upper part sits.
- The harness is listed for Bure Rise and Go codes 56-309 and 56-309/75.
- The harness and the walker are both listed at 150 kg (330.7 lb).
Using it day to day
Fit the harness as low as possible across the hips and bottom, then tighten the Velcro and safety belt.
- Place the feet flat and the legs at about 90 degrees.
- Thread both attachment straps through the frame and the green locking devices, connect them and tighten evenly on both sides.
- Lock at least two castors and fold down the stirrup before the rise.
- Two carers are recommended: one in front with weight on the stirrup, one beside the user.
- Check that the harness pulls evenly; if not, adjust before continuing.
What does it work with, and what are its limits?
It works only with the Bure Rise and Go walker, indoors.
- Check the label: replace the harness and attachment belts when they are more than three years old.
- Inspect the belts, seams, Velcro and green lockplate before each use.
- A bent holder or belt is a sign of overload; the frame must be replaced before further use.
- The walker is not included.
How does it compare?
- Bure Rise and Go is the powered walker this harness fits.
- Slings lists lift slings for a person who cannot stand.
Frequently asked questions
Does the harness include the walker?

Can the harness stay on during a move on the platform?
Yes. It may stay attached for extra safety while the person is moved on the platform.
Can it stay on for the toilet?
Yes. The lower part is split at the rear and can be opened.
