The Hoyer Comfort Access sling (Joerns items NA25571 to NA25574) is a padded toileting sling.
What does it do and how does it work?
It holds someone for a toilet transfer and leaves room to adjust clothing. It is tested to BS EN ISO 10535.
- Safe working load is 500 lbs (227 kg) on every size. The fabric is padded polyester.
- The front buckle is a positioning strap, not a restraint, and it does not need to be tight.
- Cross the leg straps onto the cradle's leg points. Clip the shoulder straps to the shoulder points.
- Green safety loops on the Securi3 clips must be visible before you raise the lift.
Who is it for, and who should choose something else?
It suits about 1 in 4 people, for a toilet transfer fitted from a chair. It is not a general-purpose sling.
- Choose it when clothing has to be adjusted during the move.
- Choose a head-support sling if the head needs holding, or a full-body sling for everyday chair and bed moves.
- A lying start is not recommended.
Will it fit?
Four adult sizes are in this set. The label crosses out the sizes you do not have.
- Small red NA25571, medium yellow NA25572, large green NA25573, extra large blue NA25574.
- The open mark on the label is the size in the bag.
- Set the back panel just under the shoulder blades and above the belt line.
- We confirm the size, and that the lift has a clip cradle, before you order.
Using it day to day
Fit it from a chair: back panel, then each leg strap, then the clips.
- Feed each leg strap under the thigh and up between the legs, with the fabric flat.
- Press lightly on the thighs when you lower, so the person stays upright.
- Machine wash warm. No bleach. Do not exceed 185 F (85 C). Cool tumble, air dry, or very low heat.
- Destroy it if it is bleached, torn, cut, frayed, or broken. Do not alter it. Check the stitching first.
What does it work with, and what are its limits?
It fits a Hoyer clip cradle on the Presence and the Stature.
- Do not put it on a loop bar or on another maker's lift. See patient lifts.
- Stay inside 500 lbs (227 kg) and inside the lift's own load. Never leave the person unattended.
- Hoyer Pro slings are warranted for 12 months to the original owner. See the warranty.
Which version should I choose?
This set is the padded Comfort Access without a head panel, small through extra large.
- Paediatric brown NA25570 is a different item.
- Comfort Access with head support, NA25576 to NA25579, is a different sling.
How does it compare?
Choose this sling for a clip cradle when no head panel is needed.
- The Hoyer Access sling with head support (NA1626) uses loops and has a head panel.

Frequently asked questions
Is the front buckle a restraint?
No. It is a positioning strap. It does not need to be tight, and the padding behind it does not need to overlap.
Can I fit this sling while the person is lying down?
No. Fit it from a seated position. A lying start is not recommended for this shape.
Does the small include the larger sizes?
No. Small red is NA25571 only. Medium, large and extra large are their own item numbers.

Warranty details
Joerns Healthcare warrants the Hoyer Comfort Access toileting sling (NA25571 to NA25574), a Hoyer Pro sling, against defects in materials and workmanship, and replaces a sling that proves defective within the warranty period.
- Sling: 12 months from purchase.
- Covers the original purchaser only.
- A replacement is covered only until the original warranty period ends.
- Joerns may ask for the sling to be returned for inspection, at the customer's expense.
- Excludes normal wear and tear, neglect, wilful damage, unsuitable surroundings and care that does not follow the instructions.
- Any alteration, modification or repair voids the warranty.
