The Hoyer Stature is a passive electric floor lift with true vertical lifting, so the person stays in a clip sling.
Who is it for, and who should pick another lift?
- A sling transfer from bed, chair or floor, not a standing transfer.
- Safe working load is 500 lb (227 kg); above that, ask for a higher-rated lift.
- Someone who can stand with help: the Hoyer Journey.
Will it fit the room?
- Closed outside width is 29.9 in (760 mm) and must clear the doorway.
- The swan-neck legs open to 48.4 in (1230 mm) inside and 53.5 in (1360 mm) outside, and lock when released.
- Leg height is 4.3 in (110 mm), so furniture must clear it.
- Cradle height at the pins runs 15.4 in (390 mm) to 61 in (1550 mm) on the standard cradle.
- Length is 50.8 to 54.7 in (1290 to 1390 mm); the lift weighs 162 lb (73.5 kg).
Which sling fits, and what are the limits?
- The standard attachment is a 4-point clip cradle, part HOY-4PTSB, for clip slings only.
- Hoyer Comfort clip slings fit, including the Comfort Disposable.
- An optional 6-point bar, 0Y0189, takes Quickfit, Full Back, Quickfit Deluxe, Long Seat, Access and Silkfit loop slings.
- Downward travel stops at an obstruction, and Joerns states it is tested to EN ISO 10535.
- No sling is included; sling, cradle and lift must all cover the person's weight.
What can be added?
- A powered cradle with controls at the handle, and a digital scale that keeps the lifting height.
- The 6-point loop bar, part 0Y0189, for the loop slings named above.
- Three codes: HOY-STATURE, HOY-STATURE-3 and HOY-STATUREWSC; we confirm both on the quote.
Battery, charging and emergency lowering
- Two 24 V sealed lead-acid batteries charge on an off-board charger.
- A red emergency stop is on the control box, with redundant raise and lower buttons.
- If all power is lost, a 6 mm hex socket in the mast top turns the mechanical lower.
- Charge when the display shows half empty, and leave the rear brakes off during a lift.

Where is the tool if all power is lost?
A 6 mm hex socket in the mast top turns the mechanical lower.
When should a battery go on charge?
As soon as the display shows half empty; waiting until it is flat can damage it.
Should the rear brakes be on during a lift?
No. Leave them off so the lift can shift to the centre of gravity.
Does the standard cradle take loop slings?
No. The 4-point cradle is for clip slings; loop slings need the 6-point bar.

Warranty details
Joerns Healthcare guarantees HoyerPro lifts, including the Hoyer Stature, against defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and service. Terms run from the date of delivery.
- Mechanical and electrical components: 2 years.
- Aluminium structural components and welds: lifetime, defined as 15 years.
- Pendant (hand control): 1 year.
- Wear parts such as batteries, hydraulic pumps and casters: 90 days.
- Covers the original purchaser only.
- Excludes damage from unsuitable environmental conditions or from maintenance that does not follow the user and service instructions.
- Any alteration, modification or repair not done or authorized in writing by Joerns Healthcare voids the warranty.
