The Joerns TRPZ-1000-BM-CAM is the bed-mount trapeze for a Camtec RC 750 or RC 1000. The person in bed pulls on it to change position.

It is a full-frame bar, built for these bariatric beds, and it adjusts for repositioning.

Who is it for, and who should choose something else?
It suits a person on an RC 750 or RC 1000 who can pull on a bar to shift in bed.
- A care team uses it so that person can reposition with less lifting.
- Choose a patient lift when the person must leave the bed. This bar is not a lift and not a standing aid.
- Choose the UltraCare trapeze for an UltraCare bed.
- Choose a free-standing trapeze when the frame is not an RC 750 or an RC 1000.
Will it fit?
It is the trapeze option for the Joerns RC 750 and the RC 1000.
- On an RC 1000, the bed safe working load is 1000 lb (454 kg). That total counts the person, the mattress, the bedding, and any other equipment or people on the bed.
- On an RC 750, the bed safe working load is 750 lb (340 kg), counted the same way. The bar does not raise that limit.
- We confirm the bed model before you order.
Using it day to day
- Lock the bar in place before anyone uses it.
- Adjust it for the person's reach, then they pull to shift position in the bed.
- Keep the combined load inside the bed's safe working load. The bar counts as other equipment on the bed.
What does it work with, and what are its limits?
- The RC 750 has three functions: hi-low, head, and knee. The RC 1000 has five, including Trendelenburg and a cardiac chair.
- An accessory from another maker needs a compatibility check before it goes on a Camtec bed.
- It is not a restraint, and it does not transfer someone out of bed.
- The RC 1000 foot extension is a separate kit. It is not part of this trapeze.

Does another person on the bed count toward the limit?
Yes. The safe working load counts the person, the mattress, the bedding, and any other equipment or people on the bed.
Is the trapeze single-use?
No. It is reusable, and it is not sold sterile.
Does the RC 1000 foot extension come with this bar?
No. The foot extension is a separate kit for a longer deck. This order is the trapeze and its mount.
Can a trapeze from another maker go on the Camtec frame?
Check compatibility first. An accessory Joerns did not provide for Camtec beds can be unsafe on this frame.
