This Pressalit MCT 3 is item R9662719000: the 74.8 in, 120 V table. It is a change table on braked casters for changing a child or adult who cannot stand or sit. A wired hand control moves the top; each safety rail folds down with one hand. We quote it.
What does it do and how does it work?
- Lying surface: 27.6 x 74.8 in; 29.5 in over the rails.
- Height: 17.7 to 37.4 in, a 19.7 in travel, moved by the wired hand control.
- Rails: two fold-down, one-hand rails, 61.1 in long and 8.5 in above the top.
- Base: four casters with foot brakes, and 6.2 in under the frame.
Who is it for, and who should choose something else?
For changing a child or adult who cannot stand or sit, in a dry room at home, school or a group home; trained carers operate it.
- Showers: it is not a shower table, even with its IPX6 rating.
- Lifting: it does not lift anyone onto it. A ceiling lift needs no clearance under the base; a floor lift must fit under it.
- Toileting: if the person can sit, a commode may be simpler.
Will it fit?
- Turning: allow a 79.7 in circle and 11.8 in clear of walls and overhead objects.
- Floor: the base frame is 63.4 in long. Do not set it over a drain, hole or slope.
- Power: 120 V, 232 W at full load, 10.5 ft cord, ground-fault protection not over 30 mA; no battery. Run it 2 minutes, then rest 18.
- Weight: the table weighs 168 lbs.
What is included?
- It arrives fully assembled with its rails, hand control, power cord and quick guide.
- No mattress: Pressalit sells this item without one. The mattress for this length is R842719378, 27.4 x 74 x 1.6 in, ordered separately.
- No belt: body belt R8488, 51.2 in, is separate. It does not provide safety and never replaces supervision.
- Pressalit also makes the MCT 3 in 57.5, 66.9 and 82.7 in lengths; those are different items.
Using it day to day
- Lock all four brakes before a transfer, keep the rails up and locked, and hold the button to move the top.
- Never leave the person unattended, and keep the hand control cord away from the neck.
- Clean with a damp cloth and mild soap, then dry. No rinsing, spraying, steam or chlorine cleaners.
- Log a yearly inspection, grease the sliding rails every six months, and leave repairs to Pressalit or people it authorizes.

- Capacity: maximum user weight 200 kg; safe working load 452 lbs including the mattress.
- Warranty: 3 years from the invoice date, cut to 1 year in a salt or chloride heavy atmosphere.

Pressalit commits to remedy material and manufacturing defects in the MCT 3 mobile change table (item R9662719000) for three years from the invoice date.
- Term: 3 years from the invoice date.
- Cut to 1 year if the table is used in an atmosphere heavy in salt or chloride.
- Attempting repairs yourself invalidates the warranty; contact Pressalit or the dealer.
- Spare parts should come from the supplier or Pressalit to keep the guarantee, with a yearly maintenance inspection logged.
