The Quantum Q6 Edge 3 Stretto is a narrow mid-wheel rehab base for a child, teen or small adult.
Who does the Stretto suit?
- A rider who needs measured seating in a narrow home or school route.
- A child, teen or small adult within 300 lb (136 kg).
- A larger rider may need the standard Edge 3.
What width and turn must fit?
- The base is 20.5 in wide on 12.5 in drive wheels, or 21.5 in on 14 in wheels.
- Turning radius is 21 in, so the narrow base does not turn tighter by itself.
- It is 36 in long without riggings, with 2.9 in clearance and a 3.5 in obstacle rating.
- Measure doorways, corners and footrest clearance.
How does it drive?
- Mid-Wheel 6 drive with two motors, independent SRS suspension, 5 in front and 6 in rear casters.
- Top speed 10 km/h, or 5.6 raised; rated slope 7.5 degrees.
- Regenerative braking with a disc park brake; IPX4.
Which seating fits?
- TRU-Balance 3 runs 12 to 20 in wide and deep; Flex 15 to 20; the captain's seat 16 to 20.
- Seat height 16-18 in static, 16.5-18.25 Flex, 17.5-19.5 tilt, 18-20 iLevel.
- Static, power tilt, recline and anterior tilt, with specialty controls.
Can the seat rise?
- Optional iLevel lifts the seat 12 in and drives at 5.6 km/h raised.
- Raise it only on level floors or flat, hard outdoor surfaces.
- Never on slopes, gravel or bumpy ground, or while tied down.
Battery and range
- Two 12 V sealed batteries: 40 Ah or 55 Ah, AGM or gel.
- Quantum rates 25.6 km on 40 Ah, 32.7 km on 55 Ah at full load; cold reduces that.
- The off-board charger is 5 A or 8 A, 8 to 14 hours.
Can it travel in a vehicle?
- Occupied travel needs WC19 and a compliant restraint system.
- Tie-down points secure the empty chair.
Which colours and options are there?
- 14 shroud colours plus Military Digital Camo and Faded Glory.
- 12.5 or 14 in drive wheels, flat-free, pneumatic or knobby.

Warranty
Warranty details
Quantum Rehab warrants the Q6 Edge 3 Stretto to the original purchaser from the date of purchase, and repairs or replaces parts that an authorized Quantum representative finds defective in material or workmanship.
- Main frame and fixed-position seat post: lifetime limited warranty.
- Electronics (controller, joystick and charger), motor and gearbox, power seat actuator, forks, caster beam, seat framing, front riggings, wiring, electronic brake function and accessories: 2 years.
- Bearings and bushings: 6 months.
- Quantum batteries: 12 months from the invoice date.
- Warranty service is done by a Quantum Rehab provider. Labour, service calls and shipping are not covered unless Quantum approves them in advance.
- Excludes wear items (plastic shrouds, motor brushes, upholstery and seating, brake pads, tires and tubes, fuses and bulbs), abuse, misuse, accident, neglect, contamination, battery leakage, commercial use, and improper operation, maintenance or storage.
