The Handicare In-Situ High Easy M921530 is a leave-in full-body sling with clips, for transfers with body and head support. It comes in six sizes, XS to XXL.
Which lifts does it fit?
- The D'Anserclip clips fit a clip-style stud spreader bar and click onto the lower studs.
- Do not use a clip sling on a loop-type bar, and do not use a loop sling on a stud-type bar.
- The sling and lift must both be rated for the person's weight, and the maker must approve the pairing.
- Tell us your lift model and serial and we confirm the bar before you order.
Who is it for, and who should choose something else?
- For a transfer where the person needs full-body support and head support.
- The integral head support is adjustable, and its stiffeners can be removed.
- It can stay under the person after the transfer, subject to a risk assessment; check the skin.
- Choose a hygiene sling for a toileting transfer, or a standing sling for a sit-to-stand lift.
Which size?
- XS M921530-XS, S M921530-S, M M921530-M, L M921530-L, XL M921530-XL and XXL M921530-XXL.
- The fit table uses two body measures: around the torso and seated torso height. Medium covers 96-108 cm (38-42.5 in) around and 74-80 cm (29-31.5 in) seated.
- Do not choose XXL from height alone; send us the measurements and we match the code.
What is it made of?
- Silva-Superfine Plus, a 3D compression spacer with two-way stretch.
- The leg areas use a low-friction fabric to help the sling slide into place.
- Soft binding, a modesty strap and a clunk-click head-support buckle.
How do you wash and inspect it?
- Wash at up to 203 F (95 C); tumble dry low, max 50 C.
- Close the hook-and-loop fastenings before washing and use non-biological detergent; do not iron.
- Check the straps, material, clips and label before each use; remove the sling at the first sign of wear.
- Check the sling and lift ratings before every use.
What are its limits?
- The safe working load is 600 lb (272 kg).
- Use it only with a suitable clip lift.
- Leave-in use is a care decision: the maker requires a risk assessment first.
How does it compare?

Does the sling have to come off after each transfer?
No, it may stay in place subject to a risk assessment. Check the skin and follow the care plan for how long it stays.
What if my lift has a loop bar?
Do not use this sling on a loop bar. It needs a clip-style stud bar.
How do I know the clips are engaged?
The clip clicks when it seats on the lower stud. Check the click before you lift.
Can the head support be softened?
Yes. The stiffeners come out of the integral head support; the support itself stays on the sling.
