The EZee Life HL185-24 is a self-propelled aluminum shower commode with a 20 in (51 cm) seat on 24 in rear wheels.

- Removable seat insert over the opening, and a slide-on pail.
- Seat 20 in (51 cm) wide by 17 in (43 cm) deep, padded, with a padded back 18 in (46 cm) high.
- Flip-back padded arms; swing-away footrests adjustable 14 to 20 in (36 to 51 cm).
- Tool-free legs at 19.3, 20.3 or 21.3 in (49 to 54 cm), or 21, 22 or 23 in on long-stem casters.
- White rust-resistant aluminum, 29 lbs (13.2 kg), rated 330 lbs (150 kg), with seat belt and calf strap.
Who is it for, and who should choose something else?
It suits someone who can push themselves in the bathroom and wants one chair for shower, toilet and bedside. Choose a four-caster attendant chair if they cannot self-propel, a tilt chair if they cannot sit upright, or an 18 in (46 cm) seat.
Will it fit?
- Overall: 28 in (71 cm) wide and 42 in (107 cm) long with all parts extended; measure the doorway and the space beside the toilet.
- Seat height 19.3 to 21.3 in (49 to 54 cm) on standard casters, or 21 to 23 in with long-stem casters.
- Over a toilet, the pail rail sits 16.3 to 18.3 in (41 to 46 cm) above the floor on standard stems, or 18 to 20 in on long stems; measure the rim.
- Small front casters can be stopped by a shower curb; a free home assessment can measure the bathroom.
Using it day to day
- Set each leg to the same height and check the pins.
- Flip the arms back and take the insert out for toileting, then slide the pail out to empty.
- Swing the footrests away for a transfer, and adjust their height and angle.
- Wipe the padded seat, back and arms; the aluminum frame resists rust.
What does it work with, and what are its limits?
- 330 lbs (150 kg), for sitting; it is not a standing aid.
- It does not tilt.
- HL185-24 is model 185 with 24 in wheels; model 185 has four 5 in casters.
- It is not a transport chair.

EZee Life warrants the 20 in Shower Commode with 24 in rear wheels (185-24) against manufacturing defects, faulty materials and workmanship for two years.
- Term: 2 years; EZee Life repairs or replaces any defective part.
- Covers the original purchaser only; keep the original receipt, the purchase date and the serial number.
- Void after alterations, misuse, abuse or accidental damage.
- Excludes freight, travel costs, lost earnings and other costs that follow a defect.
