The Joerns 310-0309-M is a replacement fabric sleeve cover for the BariMatt 1000 Plus expandable bariatric mattress. It is the cover only; the foam and the complete mattress are separate.
What does it do and how does it work?
It encloses the foam in a zip-on fabric surround.
- The cover is moisture-resistant, wipes clean and protects the foam.
- Side expansion panels zip on and off, so the cover follows the mattress width.
- The top cover shows screened setup illustrations.
Who is it for, and who should choose something else?
For a BariMatt owner whose cover is torn or soiled.
- Joerns rates the complete mattress for prevention and treatment of up to stage 2 pressure injuries; a spare cover on its own adds no therapy.
- Choose the complete mattress if you need the foam.
Will it fit?
The BariMatt comes 36, 42 or 48 in wide and 80 or 88 in long.
- Order the cover for your mattress size.
- The published mattress configurations are 6.5 in (16.5 cm) deep.
- The mattress is rated 1000 lbs (454 kg); the cover does not change that.
- A used cover that has touched skin cannot be returned under our return policy.
Using it day to day
Zip the cover over the foam and close the expansion panels.
- Check the zipper and seams for tears before each use.
What does it work with, and what are its limits?
It fits the BariMatt 1000 Plus only.
- It is a cover only; foam, bolsters and the bed are separate.
How does it compare?
