The Drive Sentra EC 30 inch is an extra-wide wheelchair for a rider up to 700 lb (318 kg), built with a carbon steel frame and a chrome finish.
What does it do and how does it work?
- Carbon steel frame with a triple-coated chrome finish, gussets and dual cross bars, at 66 lb (29.9 kg).
- Steel spoke rear wheels carry the hand rims; a companion can also push from the handles.
- 8 in (20 cm) flat-free front casters in two fork positions.
- Push-to-lock wheel locks on both rear wheels.
- Two arm builds on the same frame: detachable desk-length arms (STD30ECDDA) or full-length arms (STD30ECDFA).
- Reinforced nylon upholstery over the 30 by 20 in seat.
Who is it for, and who should choose something else?
- A larger adult up to 700 lb (318 kg) who needs a 30 in seat and propels the chair.
- A companion pushes: a transport chair. A narrower heavy-duty chair: the Sentra 20 in model.
- A 26 or 28 in seat: those are separate chairs with their own weight and width.
Will it fit?
- Seat 30 in wide by 20 in deep (76 by 51 cm), 19.5 in (50 cm) from the floor; back 18 in (46 cm).
- Open 43 in long with riggings, 39 in (99 cm) wide and 35 in (89 cm) high; measure the doorways on the route.
- Folds to 15 in (38 cm) wide, 43 by 15 by 35 in (109 by 38 by 89 cm).
- Measure hip width, hips to knee, and knee to heel in shoes.
Using it day to day
- Folds side to side, and the arms detach for a side transfer.
- Fit swing-away footrests (PH-SF) or elevating legrests (PHELR), sold separately; keep the lowest point at least 2.5 in (6.4 cm) off the floor.
- Set both push-to-lock wheel locks before a transfer.
- The chair weighs 66 lb (29.9 kg); the shipping carton weighs 72 lb (32.7 kg).
What does it work with, and what are its limits?
- The rider and anything carried must total no more than 700 lb (318 kg).
- Never use it as a seat in a vehicle, and do not use it on roads.
- Footrests and a cushion are not included; choose the arm build and the footrest type when you order.

Warranty details
Drive Medical warrants the Sentra EC extra-wide wheelchair (30 inch) to be free of defects in materials and workmanship for the lifetime of the original consumer purchaser. Drive will repair or replace a defective device at its option.
- Frame and durable parts: limited lifetime, original purchaser only.
- Not covered: non-durable parts that wear and need periodic replacement, such as rubber accessories, casters and grips.
- Excludes failure from misuse, negligence or normal wear and tear.
