The Drive 15030EXTKIT is the bed extension kit for Drive models 15030, 15033, 15230 and 15235. It adds 4 in (10.2 cm) of length so an 80 in (203 cm) sleep deck becomes 84 in (213 cm).
What does it do and how does it work?
- It lengthens the sleep deck by 4 in (10.2 cm).
- The finished deck is 84 in (213 cm), up from 80 in (203 cm).
- It changes length only. The bed width stays as it is.
- It is not kit 15005EXTKIT-L. That kit is for the 15004P and the 15005LP.
Who is it for, and who should choose something else?
- For a Drive 15030, 15033, 15230 or 15235 that needs a longer deck.
- Choose kit 15005EXTKIT-L for a 15004P or a 15005LP.
- Choose something else if you need a wider bed. This kit does not change the width.

- The mattress has to match the 84 in (213 cm) deck. An 80 in (203 cm) mattress will sit short.

- Do not follow the 15005EXTKIT-L fitting steps. Those belong to a different frame.
- After the kit is on the bed, run the bed through its positions.
- Check the mattress and rail gaps before the person uses the longer deck.
What does it work with, and what are its limits?
- The bed, the mattress and the rails are separate from the kit.
- Rails that fit the 80 in (203 cm) deck need a fresh gap check on the 84 in (213 cm) deck.
- Health Canada asks that the mattress match the frame and that rail gaps be checked.

No. The deck becomes 84 in (213 cm), so the mattress has to match that length. Check the gap at the end.
Does the kit change the bed width?
No. It adds 4 in (10.2 cm) of length only. The width of the bed stays the same.
