Description
The EZee Life CH4076 is the wide-seat EZee Fold folding power wheelchair with a reclining back, rated for 352.6 lb (160 kg).
Who it suits, and who should choose something else
- A rider up to 352.6 lb (160 kg) who needs a 21.6 in (55 cm) seat and a chair that folds for the car.
- A rider who can steer with a joystick on sidewalks, paths and level floors.
- Above 352.6 lb, choose a higher-rated chair. The CH4057 is the same chair with a 17.3 in (44 cm) seat.
- Not for curbs over 3 cm (1.2 in), steep hills, or railway tracks without a helper.
Will it fit the rider and the car?
- Seat 21.6 in wide and 17.3 in deep (55 x 44 cm), 18.1 in (46 cm) off the ground.
- Armrests sit 25.2 in (64 cm) from the ground and flip up for side transfers.
- Open, it measures 107 x 76 x 92 cm (42.1 x 30 x 36.2 in). Measure doorways against it.
- Folded, it is 74 x 46 x 77 cm (29 x 18 x 30 in) and weighs 70.5 lb (32 kg) with the battery.
How does it drive?
- Two brushless 250 W motors drive the 12 in (30.5 cm) rear wheels; the front casters are 8 in (20.3 cm).
- Top speed is 6 km/h, with up to 20 km per charge of the 24 V 10 Ah lithium battery.
- Release the joystick to stop. Electromagnetic brakes hold the chair.
- Keep slopes under 12 degrees and lean forward going up. Take low curbs slowly.
- The red levers free the wheels so a carer can push. Lock them again before driving alone.
Folding, charging and care
- To fold, release the red button at the back and push the frame down. To open, pull it up until the button locks, then lower the footplate.
- Check the lock before anyone sits down. An unlocked frame can collapse.
- Charge for 2 to 4 hours through the joystick socket with the power off. Unplug once the light turns green.
- In storage, charge the battery every three months and keep the chair away from heat and direct sun.
- A second battery can be added for longer days.
How does it compare?
- The EZee Fold CH4075 is rated for 500 lb (227 kg).
- The Pride Jazzy Carbon is a lighter carbon chair with a 17 in seat and a 300 lb (136 kg) limit.

Frequently asked questions
Can someone push it if the battery runs flat?
Yes. Lift the red brake levers and a carer can push it. Lower them again before the rider drives.
Can I drive it while it charges?
No. Keep the controller off while charging, and unplug the charger once the light is green.
Can one person lift it into a trunk?
It weighs 70.5 lb (32 kg) folded with the battery. Stand it on its wheels and lift by the seat tube, or plan a second helper.
EZee Life covers the frame for 2 years and the motor, battery, controller and joystick for 1 year; see the Warranty tab.
