Description
The Ezee Life CH4070 is a folding power wheelchair in the EZee Fold Ultra-Light line for riders up to 100 kg (220 lbs).
What does it do and how does it work?
- Folding frame: pulls open at the seat and latches; it folds to 37 cm (14.7 in) wide.
- Motors and wheels: two 24 V 150 W motors drive the 20 cm (8 in) rear wheels and 12.5 cm (5 in) casters.
- Battery: a removable 24 V 10.4 Ah lithium gives up to 15 km (9.3 mi), charged on or off the chair.
- Controls: the joystick fits either armrest with power, horn, speed and battery lights; brakes apply when it is released.
- Seat: 46 cm (18.1 in) wide, 52.5 cm (20.7 in) front height, flip-up armrests and a folding footplate; 17 kg (37.5 lbs) to lift.

Will it fit?
- Rider: up to 100 kg (220 lbs); the seat is 46 cm (18.1 in) wide, so check hip width against it.
- Space: 83.5 x 56.5 x 90 cm (32.9 x 22.2 x 35.4 in) open and 37 cm (14.7 in) wide folded; measure doorways against 56.5 cm (22.2 in).
- Turns and ground: 90 cm (35.4 in) turning radius, steps up to 40 mm (1.6 in), and no dips over 100 mm (3.9 in).
Using it day to day
- Unfold by pulling the rear frame until it latches, rotating the armrests up and lowering the footplate.
- Switch on, set the speed, and push the joystick; the chair stops when you release it.
- To push, pull the centre of each rear wheel out and turn it 90 degrees, then turn the centres back before driving.
- Charge through the joystick or battery box; 7.5 hours, and the chair will not drive while charging.
- Wipe the frame with a damp cloth and the joystick with mild detergent only.
What does it work with, and what are its limits?
- Stay within 100 kg (220 lbs), one person at a time, and do not stand on the footrests.
- Keep it out of rain, snow, ice and standing water.
- Do not carry a person in the seat in a vehicle; tie the empty chair down instead.
- Warranty: frame 5 years, motor 2 years, battery, joystick and other items 1 year; wear excluded.

Yes. Take it out and charge it in its box; the charger also fits the joystick.

Yes. It mounts on either armrest, so it can sit under the stronger hand.

EZee Life warrants the EZee Fold CH4070 ultra-light folding power wheelchair to the original purchaser. The original receipt, the purchase date and the serial number are needed for a claim.
- Frame: 5 years.
- Motor: 2 years.
- Battery, joystick and other items: 1 year.
- EZee Life repairs or replaces parts that become defective. Freight, travel and other consequential costs are not covered.
- Not transferable. Void if the serial number is not original, is altered, or does not match the warranty card.
- Excludes wear items (upholstery and seating, armrests, leg guards, footrests, brake pads, motor brushes and tires), damage from negligence, accident, misuse, abuse, overload, commercial use, or improper operation, maintenance or storage, and changes or repairs made without written consent.
