Description
The Ezee Life Ezee Fold 6G CH4095 is a folding power wheelchair with 12 in solid rear wheels for one adult up to 300 lb (136 kg).
What does it do and how does it work?
- Rear-wheel drive uses 12 in solid tires and 8 in by 2 in solid casters.
- The joystick fits either arm and has power, speed, a battery gauge and a horn.
- Let the stick centre and the chair stops. Switching power off while it moves can damage the electromagnetic brakes.
- Buckle the seat belt and keep both feet on the footrest. Anti-tip wheels limit a rearward tip.
- The 24 V, 12 Ah lithium battery charges in 6-8 hours for a 25 km (15.5 mile) range at up to 6 km/h (3.7 mph).
Who is it for, and who should choose something else?
It fits an adult who folds the chair into a car.
- Choose another chair over 300 lb (136 kg), or for a back taller than 13.8 in (35 cm).
Will it fit?
- The seat is 18.1 in (46 cm) wide, 16.5 in (42 cm) deep and 19.7 in (50 cm) high, with a 13.8 in (35 cm) back.
- Net weight is 63.9 lb (29 kg). A listed width of 15.75 in is narrower than the seat, so it is not the doorway width.
- We confirm the open width, joystick on the arm you use, before you order. Do not cross a floor gap wider than 4 in (10 cm).
Using it day to day
Pull the push handle away from the front seat frame, then flip the wire loop up until the frame locks. Lower each armrest and turn the locking lever up.
Slide the joystick into either arm and tighten the nut. Connect the cord, both motors and the batteries, then charge in a ventilated space. Switch power off before a transfer.
What does it work with, and what are its limits?
- One rider. No passengers, no towing, and stay on the sidewalk near traffic.
- Do not climb past 12 degrees, cross a side slope of 3 degrees or more, or back down a ramp.
- Stay off soft soil, loose gravel, deep snow and long grass. The highest obstacle is 2 in (5 cm).
- Keep phones and two-way radios off while the chair is powered.
Which version should I choose?
Choose the CH4095 for 12 in solid rear wheels. The Ezee Fold 6G CH4096 is the 10 in model with the same seat, capacity, speed and range.
How does it compare?
- If 63.9 lb (29 kg) is too heavy to lift, see the Jazzy Carbon, a carbon-fibre folding chair.
- If this seat is larger than you need, see the Pride Go Chair.

Frequently asked questions
What if the wire loop will not flip up?
Lift the plastic cap off each red spring and snug the nut under that cap a small amount.
May I reverse before the chair stops?
No. Wait until the chair is fully stopped before you reverse or turn the other way.
Do I need to slow down on a hill?
Yes. Ease off before a downhill, and keep the power on until the chair has stopped.
EZee Life covers the chair for 1 year against manufacturing defects; see the Warranty tab.
