The Harmony Relax Firm Twin XL with a transfer edge, code FIRMTXL-TE, is a 10 in (25 cm) foam mattress made in Canada.
What does it do and how does it work?
Harmony describes one three-layer stack for the Relax line. This code is the Firm version with the transfer edge.
- The top is 2 in (5 cm) of GelFlex foam. Harmony states it helps regulate body temperature.
- The middle is 2 in (5 cm) and firmer. The core is 6 in (15 cm) of firm foam. Harmony states the core contours to a Harmony adjustable base.
- The transfer edge is for sitting to get in and out.
Who is it for, and who should choose something else?
It is for one person who wants the Firm Relax feel and a sitting edge on a Twin XL deck. The person's nurse, doctor or therapist decides if that firmness is right.
- The rating is 350 lbs (159 kg). Use the lower of that rating and the bed's safe working load.
- It is not a bariatric mattress. Someone who needs moving air, or a softer Plush build, should look at a different code.
Will it fit?
Size is 38 x 79.5 x 10 in (97 x 202 x 25 cm).
- The Twin XL Hi-Low deck is 38 x 80 in, so this mattress is 0.5 in (1.3 cm) shorter than that deck. Measure the hospital bed. We confirm the deck length before you order.
- At 10 in it sits higher than a 6 or 7 in foam mattress. Health Canada wants rail gaps under 120 mm (4 3/4 in) and end gaps under 60 mm (2 3/8 in). Foam can compress. Test the bed rails.
Using it day to day
Set it on the deck. There is no hose and no control unit.

What does it work with, and what are its limits?
FIRMTXL-TE is the mattress only. The frame, remote and rails are separate.
- A used mattress, or one that has touched skin, cannot come back under the return policy.

This code is only the Firm Twin XL with the transfer edge.
- The same Twin XL Firm without the edge is the Harmony Relax Firm Twin XL.
- The softer feel with an edge is the Harmony Relax Plush Twin XL.
