The Aries Pro-Fit is a contoured visco foam headrest pad by Future Mobility Healthcare.
What does it do and how does it work?
- Multi-layer visco foam with a side wing that bends by hand through 0 to 70 degrees.
- It is the only Aries pad with an infection control membrane, a 0.25 in (6 mm) sweat-resistant layer.
- Covers come in waterproof or four-way stretch fabric, with an infection control cover form available.
Who is it for, and who should choose something else?
- A rider who needs lateral head support and accepts contact on both sides of the head.
- A rider who needs forehead or anterior support needs the Whitmyer Heads Up instead.
Will it fit?
- Small (HF12) is 4.5 by 9 in, Medium (HF13) 5.5 by 12 in, Large (HF14) 6.5 by 12 in, all 1.5 in deep.
- Measure the back of the head's height and width; custom sizes can be ordered.
- It fits all Aries headrest hardware, which fixes to the chair's back with a universal adapter bracket; hardware is not included.
- Bend each wing by hand until it touches the head without pressing; the hardware sets the tilt.
What does it work with, and what are its limits?
- The hardware sets the tilt angle, up to 148 degrees on the infinite positioning system. See the positioning support range for other head supports.

How does it compare?
- The Whitmyer Contoured Cradle turns its pad on a rotating collar to meet the head, on Whitmyer hardware.

Small is 4.5 in high and 9 in wide; custom sizes cover a head between sizes.

It is a 0.25 in (6 mm) foam layer that resists sweat, and only the Pro-Fit has it.
