HOY-ELEVATE-S is the Hoyer Elevate without a scale. Joerns rates it at 440 lb (200 kg). The person has to be able to stand and take part in the move. The with-scale code, HOY-ELEVATEWSC-S, is a different order.
Who is it for?
- A person up to 440 lb who can bear weight while standing.
- Not a passive floor lift. Someone who cannot stand needs a different lift and a full sling.
- The kneepad height is set with a spring lever. The foot tray is angled and can come off.
Will it fit the room?
- Length is 41.0 in (1,040 mm) at the short figure and 43.3 in (1,100 mm) at the long figure.
- Height is 48.4-65.5 in (1,230-1,665 mm). The attachment point runs from 39.2 in (995 mm) to 64.7 in (1,644 mm).
- Turning radius is 48.2 in (1,225 mm). Joerns gives no base width, so measure the doorway or ask us to.

How does it compare?

Frequently asked questions
Does HOY-ELEVATE-S include the scale?
No. The scale is HOY-ELEVATEWSC-S. This code is the lift without that option.
Can a person who cannot stand use it?
No. Joerns calls it an active lift. The person has to take part in standing.
What does Smart Monitor do?
Joerns says it displays lift activity and a service reminder. It does not replace a daily check of the sling and the battery.
Is the frame covered for 15 years?
The HoyerPro warranty gives 15 years on aluminum structure. Ask us whether that term applies to the Elevate frame. Mechanical and electrical parts are 2 years. Batteries and casters are 90 days.
