The Joerns Healthcare Hoyer NA2650 is a loop extension strap that adds length to a Quickfit Deluxe or Long Seat sling.
What does it do and how does it work?
It lengthens the webbing between the sling and the lift so the hip angle can open further.
- The straps add length to the sling straps that connect to the lift.
- Shorter shoulder loops hold a person more upright, so added length opens the hip angle.
- They leave the Quickfit Deluxe and Long Seat rating at 500 lbs (227 kg), and they are reusable.
Who is it for, and who should choose something else?
They suit a Quickfit Deluxe or Long Seat loop sling whose straps are too short.
- Choose another sling size when the fabric is too small or too large.
- A clip sling hangs from a clip cradle. These straps extend loop webbing only.
- A standard Quickfit, Full Back or Access sling is a different family.
Will it fit?
Match NA2650 to the sling item number, then hang that sling from a loop bar.
- Quickfit Deluxe polyester: NA1048, NA1050, NA1053, NA1056, NA1058. Mesh: NA1051, NA1054, NA1057, NA1059. Padded: NA1050P, NA1053P, NA1056P.
- Long Seat polyester: NA1100, NA1103, NA1106, NA1109. Mesh: NA1101, NA1104, NA1107.

- Those slings use a loop bar on the Advance, Elara, HPL450, HPL500, HPL700, Presence and Stature, and they may be used for amputees.
Using it day to day
Check the webbing before each transfer, the same way you check the sling.
- Connect the straps between the sling loops and the loop bar when the existing straps leave the person too upright.
- Take a frayed strap out of use.
- Stay at or under 500 lbs (227 kg) for these slings, and at or under the lift rating. The lower rating applies.
What does it work with, and what are its limits?
NA2650 is an add-on for those loop slings, not a sling and not a lift part.
- The order is the straps alone. The sling, the spreader bar and the lift are separate.
- It does not convert a clip sling, and it does not add a headrest.
- One item, NA2650, covers every Quickfit Deluxe and Long Seat size above.
How does it compare?
- Hoyer Quickfit Deluxe loop sling is the sling itself when you need the fabric, not longer straps.
- Hoyer Long Seat polyester sling is the hammock shape for an amputee or another assessed person.
- Hoyer full-back loop sling fits a person who needs a full back rather than extra strap length.
Frequently asked questions
Does the sling come with NA2650?
No. NA2650 is a separate order. The sling, spreader bar and lift are not in the box.
Can I use NA2650 on a clip sling?
No. NA2650 extends loop straps only. A clip sling needs a clip cradle, not these straps.
Does a longer strap raise the sling rating?
No. These slings stay at 500 lbs (227 kg), and the lift's own rating still applies.
Is there more than one size of strap?
No. NA2650 is the one item for every Quickfit Deluxe and Long Seat size it fits.
