Slings are purchase only. We do not rent slings. Our team helps confirm the correct size and lift attachment.
Description
The Hoyer Twin Turner, item NA25705, is the standard turning sheet for a Hoyer lift. It helps a caregiver turn or log-roll a person in bed and hold them in position for hygiene or skin care.
What does it do and how does it work?
It wraps under the person and takes the strain of the turn on the lift.
- Loop straps attach to the lift spreader bar; Velcro straps fasten to a stable part of the bed frame.
- The sheet stays on the bed while the lift takes the turning load, leaving both hands free for care.
- It is rated 625 lbs (283 kg) and tested to EN ISO 10535.
- It is not a full-body sling and does not lift a person out of bed.
Who is it for, and who should choose something else?
It suits a person who needs turning or log-rolling in bed and can be turned with a lift.
- For a lift out of bed, use a full-body sling instead.
- A clinician or moving-and-handling adviser should assess the turn before the first use.
- For a simple in-bed reposition, a flat sheet may be enough.
Will it fit?
The standard is NA25705; the large NA25706 is a separate item, wider and longer, with extra straps that move the pressure higher or lower.
- The Velcro needs a stable part of the bed frame to grip.
- Keep the side rails up while the person is turned.
- Tell us the bed and lift if you are not sure the standard size suits.
Using it day to day
Fold the Velcro straps against the label side and wrap the edges over them so all the straps are enclosed.
- With the person on their back, place the folded end at the lumbar, folded side down, and push it under them.
- Secure the Velcro to the bed frame, then attach the loop straps to the lift spreader bar.
- Lift and turn, steadying the person with your free hand.
- Do not pull on the loops to drag the person along the bed.
What does it work with, and what are its limits?
It works with a Hoyer or Joerns lift spreader bar and a bed frame.
- Never leave the person unattended during the turn.
- Check the sling and stitching before each use; discard a bleached, torn or frayed sling.
- The 625 lbs (283 kg) rating and the lift's rating both apply; use the lower.
- Machine wash at 185 F (85 C), no bleach, cool tumble or air dry, no dry cleaning.
How does it compare?
- Hoyer repositioning sling is a mesh sheet for moving a person up the bed.
- Savaria in-situ repositioning sheet is another in-bed sheet.
- Slings lists the full range.
Frequently asked questions
Does it include the large size?

Can it lift someone out of bed?
No. It turns a person in bed; a full-body sling is needed for a lift out.
What holds it to the bed?
Velcro straps on a stable part of the bed frame; the loops go to the lift bar.
Hoyer Pro warranty: 12 months, see the Warranty tab.
