- One panel finishes either the head or the foot of a Joerns bed; the non-staff-control panels are interchangeable between the two ends.
- The Traditional panel is 18.25 inches (46 cm) high, 0.75 inches (2 cm) deep and 36 inches (91 cm) wide.
- A 42 inch (107 cm) wide version fits the wider Joerns decks.
- The panel is laminate in Natural Maple with a Sand edge.

- It suits a Joerns bed that needs a new panel or a finish refresh.
- Other Joerns finishes and the Classical style are different panels.
- It is not made for a non-Joerns bed.

- Measure the panel width on the bed: 36 inches standard, 42 inches wide.

Using it day to day
- Fit the panel with a number 2 Phillips screwdriver, four screws and the safety pins on each side.
- The brackets are right-left oriented; the foot panel can extend to the mattress length.
- Do not remove the panel while the bed is in an 84 or 88 inch length extension position.
What does it work with, and what are its limits?
- The kit is one panel; the mattress, rails and staff control are separate.
- Joerns recommends Joerns panels with Joerns beds, and a properly sized mattress and compatible assist devices to reduce entrapment risk.
- The staff-control panel is a different part for a bed ordered with that option.
