Description
DLPP-OOOOOODMJ-CU is the Joerns Dolphin pediatric FIS control unit. It is the pump only, without a mattress, and it drives the pediatric Dolphin surface rated 5 to 300 lbs (2.3 to 136 kg).
Who is it for?
- A pediatric Dolphin mattress that needs its matching pump; the mattress kit is a separate order.
- The clinician decides whether fluid immersion suits the child.
- Adult Dolphin pumps carry DLPH codes; order the pump that matches the surface.
How does it work?
- The AutoVector module reads the surface more than 100 times per second and adjusts the profile; nobody types a weight in.
- Modes are Bed and Chair/Stretcher; Chair/Stretcher is for the specialty surfaces, not a therapy mattress.
- Comfort Adjust spans Soft to Firm over 10 LEDs, with an Auto Feedback light showing the working range.
- Autofirm fills the surface for a transfer and returns to the previous setting after about 15 minutes.
- A fault sounds an alarm and lights an LED.
Will it fit?
- The unit is 11.5 x 12.5 x 6 in (29.2 x 31.8 x 15.2 cm) and 10 lbs (4.5 kg); it hangs on the foot of the bed and should not sit on the floor.
- Power is 115/230 V AC, 50/60 Hz, 0.34/0.21 A; the unit is rated IPX2.
- A sealed 12 VDC battery runs about 12 hours when the storage switch is set to Battery On, so therapy continues during a move or an outage.
- Check the gap at the bed rails with the mattress fitted, and stop if a fault alarm sounds.
Care and warranty
- The CPR valve is on the mattress; twisting it deflates the surface, and the time varies with the child's weight and profile.
- Wipe the control unit and keep it clear of moisture and spills.

Warranty details
Joerns Healthcare warrants the Dolphin Fluid Immersion Simulation (FIS) system, pediatric against defects in workmanship and materials under normal and proper use. The warranty covers the original purchaser.
- Support surfaces: 2 years.
- Electromechanical parts (compressors, valves, circuit boards, hoses and couplers): 2 years.
- Joerns supplies replacement parts, or services or replaces a defective product, at its option.
- Excludes burns, improper chemicals, needle punctures, cuts or abrasions, excessive loads, staining, improper maintenance or cleaning, use against the manual, and unauthorized modification or repair.
