The Dolphin Pediatric FIS kit from Joerns, code DLPP-3582OODMJ-KIT, is a fluid immersion therapy surface for a child. It is 35 x 82 in and rated 5 to 300 lbs (2.3 to 136 kg).

It simulates immersion in a fluid, so the body sinks into the surface instead of resting on high points.

- The weight range is 5 to 300 lbs (2.3 to 136 kg); the bed's safe working load still applies.
- Health Canada advises gaps under 120 mm (4 3/4 in) in zones 1 to 3 and 60 mm (2 3/8 in) in zone 4. Check the rails with the surface in place.
- A used surface cannot be returned under our return policy.
Using it day to day
Use Bed mode for the mattress.
- Hang the control unit on the foot of the bed; do not place it on the floor.
- The CPR valve is on the therapy mattress, not on the control unit.
- Set the storage switch to Battery On for battery use, and back to storage when the unit is put away.

- The kit is the pediatric system; the crib, bed and sheets are separate.
- The pediatric control unit is a different product from the adult DLPH unit.

Joerns Healthcare warrants the Dolphin Fluid Immersion Simulation (FIS) system, pediatric against defects in workmanship and materials under normal and proper use. The warranty covers the original purchaser.
- Support surfaces: 2 years.
- Electromechanical parts (compressors, valves, circuit boards, hoses and couplers): 2 years.
- Joerns supplies replacement parts, or services or replaces a defective product, at its option.
- Excludes burns, improper chemicals, needle punctures, cuts or abrasions, excessive loads, staining, improper maintenance or cleaning, use against the manual, and unauthorized modification or repair.
