The Joerns N300AL is the trapeze adapter for a Joerns EasyCare bed. It mounts a separate trapeze assembly on the frame.
What does it do and how does it work?
It is the mount between the EasyCare frame and a trapeze system.
- Joerns recommends pairing a Joerns trapeze with this Joerns adapter.
- The trapeze bar, strap and grip are parts of the trapeze, not the adapter.
Who is it for, and who should choose something else?
- It suits an EasyCare bed when the person's care team has recommended a trapeze.
- Choose the N529AL UltraCare trapeze if the bed is an UltraCare; its adapter is sold apart.
- Choose a free-standing trapeze when the bed has no adapter mount.
Will it fit?
It fits the EasyCare bed frame. Send the model and serial from the frame label and we confirm N300AL against it.
- After fitting, move the bed from its highest to its lowest position. When the bed is fully down, the trapeze bar must sit at least 1 in (25 mm) off the floor.
- Some trapeze systems are not suitable for the EasyCare because of its low operating height.
Using it day to day
Fit the adapter with the instructions supplied with it. Joerns technical support is 800-826-0270 if a step is unclear.
- Fit the trapeze assembly to the adapter using the instructions supplied with the trapeze.
- Set the bar height and position as the person's doctor or therapist directs.
What does it work with, and what are its limits?
It works with a Joerns trapeze on an EasyCare bed.
- The EasyCare bed's 600 lbs (272 kg) safe working load includes accessories and options.
- Do not exceed the maximum load on the adapter's installation sheet; we can confirm that figure with Joerns.
- A badly fitted adapter can alter or dislodge the head panel. A badly fitted bar can disconnect or collapse.

Does N300AL include the trapeze bar?
No. N300AL is one adapter. The bar, strap and grip come with the trapeze, which is a separate Joerns order.
Can I use a trapeze from another brand?
Joerns recommends its own trapeze with this adapter. Another system must clear the floor at the bed's lowest height and follow the adapter's load limit.
What if the bar touches the floor at the lowest setting?
Stop and adjust the bar. Joerns requires at least 1 in (25 mm) of clearance before the bed is used.
