The Joerns WeCare staff traditional bed panel is the head and footboard set for the WeCare home care bed. The foot panel carries the staff controls, and the set comes in Natural Maple or Spiced Cherry laminate.
What does it do and how does it work?
- Gives the WeCare a headboard and footboard in the traditional arched style.
- Staff controls in the foot panel adjust height, head and foot and lock functions from the foot of the bed.
- High-pressure laminate finish, made to be wiped clean.

- For a WeCare bed that needs panels, or a care setting where staff adjust the bed from the foot end.

Will it fit?
- Fits the WeCare bed frames at the standard 35 in (89 cm) width.
- This is the staff-control panel. Joerns lists a separate staff control kit and cable for the bed, so send the model and serial and we confirm what your frame already has.

Using it day to day
- Fit the head panel with its label on the back and use the longer brackets at the head end, with the offset facing up.
- Four screws hold each panel; a #2 Phillips screwdriver is the only tool.
What does it work with, and what are its limits?
- The WeCare bed's 450 lb (204 kg) capacity includes the panels, mattress and other accessories.
- Use a properly sized mattress and check the gaps between the panels, mattress and assist devices; the combination is what lowers entrapment risk.
- Covered for 1 year.

No. This panel set is made for the WeCare bed, and other Joerns frames use their own panels.
