Description
The MedLite MDR107003L is a frame-only full-electric homecare bed. It is not the low bed MDR107003LO, and it is not a rail or mattress package.
Who it suits, and who should choose another bed
- One adult at home, at or under 450 lb (204.12 kg).
- Not MDR107003LO. That low full-electric MedLite is a different item.
Will the deck, the boards and a mattress fit?
- Spring deck height is 15 in (38.1 cm) to 23 in (58.42 cm). Board height is separate: 26 in (66.04 cm) to 33.85 in (85.98 cm).
- The deck is 34.5 in (87.63 cm) wide and 80 in (203.2 cm) long. The spring overall is 35.75 in (90.8 cm) by 89 in (226.06 cm).
- No mattress is included. A standard 36 by 80 inch homecare mattress fits the deck; see our therapeutic mattresses.
- Two casters lock and two roll. Lock both before a transfer. On a slick floor the locks may not hold.
Rails, power and a Health Canada notice
- Rails are not included. See bed rails. Use only authorized Medline parts, and fit mattress retainers.
- Canada's recall and safety alerts database carries a notice dated 30 December 2025 that names MDR107003L. Read that notice and the Medline manual before you fit a rail or another accessory.
- In a power cut the crank changes the height. Take it off before the pendant runs, or it can spin with the motor.
- The battery box moves the head and foot only. It needs two 9V batteries you supply. Unplug it from the junction box after use.
How it compares
The Drive low height frame sits closer to the floor. Other choices are on full electric beds and homecare beds, including the Delta 1000.
Frequently asked questions
What if the pendant moves the wrong section?
The motor cables may be in the wrong sockets on the junction box. Stop and ask for service before you keep pressing buttons.
What if only one board rises when the height changes?
The pin in the centre drive shaft may have dropped out. Stop the hi-lo function and ask for a repair before you use it again.
Can I wash the spring sections at home?
Yes. Separate the head and foot springs, stand them on edge, wash with mild detergent, then rinse and towel them dry.

Medline warrants the MedLite full electric home care bed (MDR107003L) to the original purchaser against defects in materials and workmanship, and repairs or replaces the bed at its option.
- Mechanics and electronics: 5 years.
- Welds and frame: life of the bed.
- Excludes failure from owner misuse or negligence, and normal wear and tear.
- Excludes non-durable parts that wear and need replacement, such as casters.
